I honestly can't believe there are people out here who don't have to figure out how they will make it till payday. That some people can go to the store and just worry about what they want, not the cost. That shit blows my mind.

How is that shortsighted? I believe in people I truly do. I have worked in many places and fields and one thing is always true... people can be trained. You just need to give them a chance and the right manor to learn from.
