    it made trans ID’d males (esp lesbian ID’d ones) afraid. what if butch lesbians realized they had more in common with other afab people (trans men) than they did with lesbian ID’d males? it would mean realizing that it’s impossible to be male and lesbian. this wouldn’t stand. 6/

    Just seen this - how on earth is it hateful to point out men commit the vast majority of violent crime?? They literally do. And we need to be able to say that to combat it. Am I going to get banned now? WTH

    Primary care docs: you have enough psych training to understand a certain percentage of already stressed adolescent girls will reject the added stress of female puberty/identity. Xsex drugs/surgery aren’t the treatment. Refer to a counselor like this who can actually help them.

    Thread. I’m afraid we will find this story of trans ID regret is all too common: lack of mental health screening, trans activist counselors, drug pushing Physicians/Endocrinologists & none of the prescribers there to help pick up the pieces once the mistake is realized.

    to be prescribed testosterone, i met with a gender therapist 2 times. he was a trans female himself & he asked me about my feelings about gender. i told him honestly that i wasn't sure, i didn't necessarily feel like a man, but that i felt uncomfortable being seen as a woman, 1/

    Doctors: you also have enough psych training to understand that young people struggle with their sexual orientation, especially if homosexual. How is it surprising that this could present as gender dysphoria? Generate a differential diagnosis for your patients. WAKE UP.

    I get this a lot. People saying they've unfollowed me without ever clicking the button. If I was paranoid, I'd think Twitter's engineers were trying to disrupt the networks of gender critical people!

    i can’t stress enough the importance of female-only spaces. a few friends & i created an afab only group to discuss our feelings abt gender, the 1st i’d ever been in. w/in a few mos it’d grown to over 150. 4 the 1st time we were free to truly say how we felt. it’s been healing.

    this is an example of how trans ideologists use faux-academic language to obscure what sexuality is. to keep people believing that they can opt out of their sexuality, that knowing your sexuality is innate is wrong and “colonialist”, that lesbianism is a choice.
