The term "cancelled" should never have been coined. Doing so gave people a euphemism to use instead of having to say "Everyone got tired of my shit and told me to fuck off."

Strange but heartwarming story. This one kids event I did about 7 years ago in a bookshop, I turned up and there was one kid and his grandma. I waited until about ten minutes past the time and no one else turned up, which was really strange.+
