Their deaths were a direct result of his decision to rob the armored car for his own personal benefit. Was it not?

The way that murder works is that someone kills another person, in this case with a gun. Boudin's father was not armed and did not kill anyone. Hope that clears things up for you.

He made the decision to be involved with an armed robbery with semi automatic weapons. He is responsible for their deaths.

He decided to commit a crime, which was robbery. He's served 40 years. He didn't kill anyone. He's not responsible for murders he didn't commit. Are you a republican?

"..to qualify as an underlying offense for a felony murder charge, the underlying offense must present a foreseeable danger to life..." It seems like his active participation in an armed bank robbery resulted in a just conviction of felony murder.https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Felony_murder_rule …

That law is insane. He committed armed robbery which carries a penalty of 25 years. He served 40. And he didn't kill anyone. At least, it seems the prosecutor didn't think so.

The law is not insane. People feeling bad for Boudin and Gilbert are.

The average American commits three felonies a day, and all of us are inherently illegal. Yes the law is insane.https://www.wsj.com/articles/SB10001424052748704471504574438900830760842 …

Nope, and that's why I think people that commit murder should have their own name, as opposed to, bank robbers. Something like murderer vs robber.
