    Proud of Park Ridge. On July 29th we convened a group of ten residents to meet with our Police Department to review our use of force policies and keep our commitment to and 's Mayor's Pledge as well as a review of the calls to action.

    With good reason we are all a little on edge these days. With that in mind, I wanted to remind everyone that the City of Park Ridge tests our emergency siren, the first Tuesday of each month at 10:00 AM. So tomorrow morning when you hear it, fear not, it is just a test.

    As you leave your home, please ask yourself, if the reason you are leaving is truly essential. Our cases in Park Ridge are going up. Local health officials are telling us that we have not yet seen what they believe will be our "surge." Staying home will save lives. Please.

    In my district today, a ceremony was held in Park Ridge at Hodges Park to commemorate Veterans Day. It was hosted by the amazing veterans at American Legion Post 247.

    11 days after shaving at a St. Baldrick's event, 2017 Ambassador Benny was diagnosed with . Treatment side effects left him paralysed from the neck down but it hasn't slowed him down! Benny shaved again today at his former middle school's event! Congrats, Benny!
