Yet again US Ambo in Israel decides to change US policy. Does agree or is the Ambo freelancing?

Honored to have the opportunity to bid farewell to statesman and patriot John McCain today. We were ennobled by the spirit of bipartisanship and the redemption of American values. God bless you ⁦⁩ & ⁦⁩ and family.

U.S. Ambassador Friedman: Rebuilding Gaza without Abbas is 'tremendous prize' for Hamas. And taking Jerusalem off the table and cutting UNWRA's budget is an even bigger prize for Hamas.

Trump's Middle East diplomacy in action: First strip the Palestinians of all aid, take Jerusalem off the table. Then criticize their leader for not being willing to confront Hamas, without troops, money or political credibility.

As for sensitivity to Israeli domestic realities, Kerry bent over backwards to take Bibi’s political concerns into account. The problem, if I am allowed to say, is that your political leaders are VERY needy.

Failed to deal seriously with Israel’s security concerns? Kerry mobilized over 100 military experts under General John Allen to come up with solutions to Israel’s security needs. Israel’s generals were under strict instructions only to answer their questions. Who wasn’t serious?

Deeply saddened by passing of John McCain, warrior, statesman, senator, husband, father, friend and moral tribune. A great man has been taken from us just when we most need his courage, valor, and integrity. May the memory of who he was and what he stood for be preserved forever.

Peace between Israel and Jordan and five Israeli-Palestinian agreements. What has Trump’s approach achieved?

This doesn’t make America great again. It makes America look like a small-minded, mean-spirited, bully.

Trump will learn the hard way that the weak don’t respond to “maximum pressure” like the strong. When you’ve got nothing to lose except your pride, having even less just leads you to dig in your heels. The Palestinians even have a name for it: “sumud” (steadfastness).

So counterproductive. Taking Jerusalem off the table, cutting funding to UNWRA, and now cutting economic aid to the Palestinian Authority will only drive the Palestinians further away from the table.

The simple reality of Middle East peacemaking is that where there’s no urgency, there’s no peace.

Finally, Bibi feels sufficiently protected by Trump’s indulgence to reveal the attitude he has always had toward Israeli-Palestinian peacemaking but never before dared express publicly: “I don’t see any urgency on this matter.”

Gee. Kim’s not cooperating because Xi’s not cooperating because Trump started a trade war with China. Trump discovers the concept of logical consequences applies in international affairs even if it doesn’t apply to his own affairs.

    3. As the administration considers funding in FY 17, the GAO report demonstrates that the mission performs at the highest levels of integrity, accountability and performance.
