@MartinKulldorff What are your thoughts on Flexscan vs elliptical clusters in @SatScan? It's more challenging to prep data for Flexscan.

@PaulLantos All work well. Circular scan has slightly more power for compact; elliptic for elongated; and flex for small ragged clusters.
@PaulLantos With any scan, borders are uncertain. Flexible & elliptic are better able to delineate borders for irregular shaped clusters...
