Everyone is a “lockdown sceptic”. No one I have ever spoke with in favour lockdowns. They are failure public policy & ability use data wisely & act earlier with far less intrusive measures & prevent need lockdowns. March20 & much worse when the data was so clear in Sept/Oct 20

Whatever you think of him he's been completely consistent on this. Indeed, it's in his book. The point he is making (pretty clearly, I thought) is that ideally they wouldn't have been necessary. That doesn't mean he is saying that, in reality, they weren't.
