Let's be clear though: Sweden only has 10 million people spread out over Europe's largest land mass. They have lived in an authoritarian social democracy for over 100 years so are pretty good at following government instructions without making a fuss.

Sir. I was shown this chart today when I tried to defend Swedish approach to masks and lockdown. I was told that in Sweden people are dying exactly because of lack of lockdown and mask mandates. Please, could you comment on the chart, data it was based on?
And that's the difference between people like you and Johan, Martin, and people like me.
People like me don't consider more than 15000 people dead to be a "low death toll".
(Especially not when our close neighbour Norway has managed to keep theirs under 1000.)

What’s embarrassing is that I overheard someone use Sweden *last week* as an example for why we must endorse mandates like masks during path of travel 😂😭. They said, “well, yeah look how well doing nothing worked for Sweden”. Sad how far media has manipulated people.

On the other hand… Here in Sweden we don’t hear on the news about for example Italy or Canada. We had this beautiful story about Australia in the news about people meeting & hugging at airports again. Nothing about the bad stuff going on.
