There is, as always, an enormous gap between the people who use elite media and political platforms to demand lockdowns and the people and families who actually bear the burden of those lockdowns. That's what makes lockdown advocacy for elites so cheap & easy.https://twitter.com/ggreenwald/status/1426243368825364487 …

No, I think you have been silent on the matter; the worst assault on the working class since segregation and the Vietnam War.

I absolutely have not been silent on it at all. You don't follow me here so I really don't understand what gives you such confidence to pontificate on what I have and haven't spoken about, but whatever makes you so confident, you're wrong.

Happy to be wrong Glenn. You have done insightful journalism on the surveillance state, censoring and Russia, and some on inconsistencies in COVID regulations, but I missed your criticism of lockdowns.

when has this been?? honestly. I know Glenn has spoken out against some of the censorship, but Martin's impression that Glenn has been noticeably silent on the central political question of lockdowns is mine also and that of most others I know who follow such things

Even though it has nothing to do with virology/immunology, this article from the Intercept was one of the most perceptive pieces I read in the early days of COVID hysteria. https://theintercept.com/2020/05/08/andrew-cuomo-eric-schmidt-coronavirus-tech-shock-doctrine/ … GG didn't leave The Intercept until months later.
