Well let's hope we get answers from Florida, Texas and all the Red states that DID THE EXACT SAME THING!

One can understand the frustration and guilt of the families but the question is what were the alternatives? Send them home where the absence of proper care put them in the nursing homes to begin with?

Everyone (except a few like John P. A. Ioannidis)failed to appreciate the implications of the first outbreak, virtually simultaneously in care homes across the nation and even in 'model' Vt, the Dept of Health did not move in to ensure precautions until COVID appeared in them.

Even Sweden admits that it did not move fast enough in the case of care homes, that their very large facilities were ripe for rapid spread. Investigation yes, scapegoating no.

In particular I'd like to see the development of some recognition of the pre-existing fault lines in U.S. long-term care facilities, inadequate funding under the Medicare/Medicaid system and routine wavers of staffing regulations.

A crime is a crime whether in office or not. He's guilty of Criminally Negligent Homicide, for sure, however, murder is stretch.... but would I like to see that!!!

Opposite of “focused protection” of the most vulnerable in many states was “deliberate over exposure” either by concentrating true symptomatic cases with highly susceptible people or having them continue working when others who could afford to stayed home.
