This nearly happened to my father. We were told his triple bypass was an absolute must. Then it suddenly became a "delayed elective". He barely survived the delay.

I also know people with similar stories. what is going on with GP’s at the moment. Why is it so difficult to see one! The friend I know, who lost her husband a few weeks ago, said ‘his life meant nothing to them - they did not care’. This was a pre pandemic problem though!
