For the record, I believe Johnson’s decision to force through the withdrawal of Covid regulations on Monday to be an act of criminal folly that will cost many lives and with the rise of long Covid will cause serious harm to hundreds of thousands of members of our community.

Lockdowns have been the worst assault on the working class in half a century. Public health should serve everyone, not just the work-at-home laptop class of journalists, lawyers, scientists, politicians, etchttps://twitter.com/MartinKulldorff/status/1340352570368413696 …

#3 Public health is about everyone. It should not be used to shift the burden of disease from the affluent to the less affluent, as the #COVID19 #lockdowns have done. https://torontosun.com/opinion/columnists/opinion-canadas-covid-19-strategy-is-an-assault-on-the-working-class …

Not to mention the closure of public schools, which are of more importance to lower income kids who depend on uninterrupted course education to facilitate social mobililty and rescue from poverty in the future. Lockdowns have shuttered their hopes.

How do you stop virus spreading without shutting schools, even Johnson called kids superspreaders on 5th Jan, we will loose thousands more even with vaccine

The #paradox is that the most ineffective, delayed, longer, wider, and harmful #lockdown(s) are caused by the "anti-lockdowners" and by those who do not allow to act properly and selectively with timely, shorter, smaller, and effective #lockdown(s)!🤔

In this piece Victor Davis Hanson reminds us that policies are embraced by groups whose incomes shield them from the consequences of their utopian bromides - the poor and the middle class have no such insulation - we see that daily with sarscov2https://amgreatness.com/2021/07/14/class-the-word-we-dare-not-speak/ …

Amen, not everyone can work from home on a laptop. End lock downs now. Vaccinate if you wish if not then be prepared to take the risks.

The really criminal thing is that the Government imposed lockdown (clearly not a good thing economically), AND still allowed 150,000 to die. The UK lost on both counts. An utter failure of leadership. Personally, I’d take lockdown if it meant we had 150k lives back…

Lockdowns are nothing new to the old slaves in the world. Colonialism has always deployed locking down the slaves, call it curfew or anything else. The difference today is the Slave owning classes are locking their own race with the Slaves! 🤣🤣🤣 Taste your own medicine. 🤣🤣
