It seems like many "behavioral scientists" saw the pandemic as a means of carrying out a real life experiment. People around the world are seen not as humans with independent agency - but merely test subjects.

Behavioral 'scientists' were talking about using carrots and sticks to control the human population. They don't see us as test subjects, they see us as donkeys.

I would reserve my judgement until the information about who said what is available from a source which is not a fuzzy clipped image from a tabloid. Regardless of how many professor titles the individual who tweeted it has.
