        Agreed - the even bigger failure, IMHO, was to put ID doctors instead of public health experts in charge. Like the famous “when you have a hammer, everything becomes a nail”, the ID doctors looked at everything with a myopic view from their own field instead of the full picture

        Of course. And not to look within days but within years. Although it has been obvious for every wise person since the very begining of this Madness. It's sad that such a reasonable rule has to be reminded to the humanity by a Harvard University professor.
