Most journalist are not the brightest or most inquisitive people Our assumption is that they are truth seeking but very often they are pushing a pre constructed narrative driven by management.

Absolutely. It is the clear censorship of the likes of Profs. Gupta,Heneghan and Lee that needs to be investigated in full when this is over. Why does the BBC think they know better ? Why did they take sides ? Were they bullied into this or do they have their own agenda?

I don't think they teach much epidemiology at journalism school so I don't find it surprising. What I do find surprising, and problematic, is that they don't seem to teach much journalism anymore either.
