Martin Kulldorff Retweeted Dr. Angela Rasmussen

Dear Dr. @angie_rasmussen, Thank you for proving three of my points. Focused protection is the opposite of let-it-rip, by minimizing both #COVID19 mortality and collateral public health damage. Happy to do a public debate with you, unless you wish to prove a fourth point of mine.https://twitter.com/angie_rasmussen/status/1385997230134337539 …

In which Dr. Kulldorff uses the same tactics he criticizes to wallow in his own self-pity & distort the issues rather than engage in “proper debate.” And I’d suggest that Team Let ‘Er Rip is not being silenced or censored since they regularly whine about it here & on Fox News. pic.twitter.com/GmAtYHYaZe

It seems public debate isn’t their thing. They’re more comfortable with mischaracterizing views that aren’t in line with the failed policies they advocate for.

Point to @MartinKulldorff. I would imagine several additional points would be awarded if @angie_rasmussen agreed to a debate. My guess is she will make no such agreement.

Team 'focused protection' might get mistaken for team 'let her rip' a little less often, if the former - although a great idea in theory- never tends to work in practice and almost always morphs into the latter by default. Could it be because it doesn't work maybe?? 🤔

I look forward to this debate. I hope it has two parts: (i) They let it rip and get everything out (including objectives), (ii) They then talk calmly about how a global inquiry could be designed to maximise learning.

This is actually a pretty great idea. Have the proceeds go to a charity or cause of choice.
