"With so many COVID19 deaths, it is now obvious that lockdown strategies failed to protect the old. The blame game for this fiasco is now in full swing. Some are complaining that people did not comply enough, but blaming the public is disingenuous."pic.twitter.com/MZGIFMbTpc

Yep. I warned about this six months ago, about the time of the announcement of the GBD. Low responsibility people are gonna low-responsibility.https://empathy.guru/2020/10/07/the-memetic-wars-have-truly-begun-empathy-in-the-time-of-coronavirus/ …

It’s been one of the most despicable lies of the last year. If lockdowns don’t work it’s because people haven’t adhered to them. No one has been allowed to suggest that lockdowns don’t work because lockdowns don’t work.

Maybe noteworthy as India comes into the spotlight, that US & India essentially have the same 80+yr/old total populations...the most vulnerable segment. India 65-80yr/olds not quite double same US population segment.pic.twitter.com/iKCjdoKtna

But unclear why it's in the spotlight. It's doing pretty well compared to full lockdown countriespic.twitter.com/yxS1cn9Qon
