"Even under the questionable Imperial College models, lockdowns turned out to be a rather high price to pay for an outcome that was worse than what their unpublished models predicted for a focused protection strategy." - @MartinKulldorff in @unherdhttps://unherd.com/thepost/what-johan-giesecke-missed-out/ …

I find it curious that you spend your energy talking about lockdowns that are phasing out instead of encouraging more people to vaccinate. You're practicing some extreme self validation at the cost of public health.

Interview was a little disappointing. But to an extent it was just his laconic style is beyond the anger rest of us feel on both sides. Have a feeling it was slightly in reaction to feedback from last year next year he will probably defend harder. He was utterly right in Apr 20

Once again, thank you very much to all those who, in one way or another, either directly or indirectly, determined, or are determining, the most ineffective, delayed, longer, wider, and harmful #restrictions and #lockdown(s)!🤨https://twitter.com/Capobianco2005C/status/1353707712220114944?s=20 …

The #paradox is that the most ineffective, delayed, longer, wider, and harmful #lockdown(s) are caused by the "anti-lockdowners" and by those who do not allow to act properly and selectively with timely, shorter, smaller, and effective #lockdown(s)!🤔

Yeah, why lockdown when you too can live free? Except for just one point...there are areas that needed to be locked down. They weren’t, and we are back on a 4th wave now. All 3 variants circulating. We’re going to get a mutation that makes this more deadly.

India and Brazil right now are where the ‘focused protection’ lead. When will you apologize for the AIER think-tank influenced GBD that only leads to suffering and death?

Pandemic modelling did not anticipate a significant number of people denying the virus' existence.
