We should live healthy lives, but it is not healthy to be afraid of others and we should not make our children afraid. So, drive carefully, but don't be afraid of other drivers and don't make your kids afraid of a car ride.https://twitter.com/MartinKulldorff/status/1340352582737391617 …

#9 Public health is about trust. To gain the trust of the public, public health officials and the media must be honest and trust the public. Shaming and fear should never be used in a pandemic. https://thehill.com/opinion/healthcare/528612-facts-not-fear-will-stop-the-pandemic … @camakridis

I’ve told my kids, after seeing the pandemic affect their psychology, not to give two shits about C-19 affecting them. Also, we are very careful not to spread, but the burden is not on them if grandma gets sick.

And some may argue, it's safer to drive a car with air bags and always wear the seatbelt .. (seatbelt and air bags = face masks and vaccines)

I brings to mind the childhood story of the Little Boy Who Cried Wolf. With Public Health Officials losing credibility daily, what happens when an actual, legitimate society altering pandemic hits?
