The @AIER is one of very few research organizations that opposed the lockdowns; lockdowns that (i) proved utterly ineffective at protecting high-risk older people against COVID while (ii) causing enormous collateral public health damage among all ages. Thank you.

Shocked that a Koch funded libertarian think tank would have funded research against lockdowns, especially when early on we doctors didn’t even have enough protective equipment for ourselves. Only Koch institutes heartless enough to conduct this research.

Businesses should have done a better job at risk reduction & mitigation amongst their customers. If they had, lockdowns wouldn't have even occurred. Self-regulation begins with individuals. When they can't self-regulate, gov often steps in. Lesson learned.
