Wow. Hadn’t thought of it that way in that context. Question, not medical so not qualified. But I can spot patterns and trends. Have asked this question; How many extra beds and staff do we need to get through current peak ? Genuine question from a curious Engineer.

So we need better protection for inner city populations and essential workers. More wfh where possible, more scrutiny of unsafe workplaces, better financial support for those who can’t afford to self-isolate.

Who knows? Seems like the focus here is on suppressing the disease rather than raising the capacity of the healthcare. In the same vein immunity can only be archived through vaccine.

Not all who got paychecks support lockdowns. The world still has people with empathy, some of us feel helpless, utterly lonely with none around us believing what we say. I have given up in vain after months and months of trying to talk sense. It is complicated.
