Dave Greenfield, keyboardist for my favourite band, 'The Stranglers', went to hospital for heart problems in the Spring, caught covid there, went home, and died of covid two weeks later, at 71 (mind you I doubt he led the healthiest of lives).

In the US, any death within 28 days of an unreliable + PCR test, is a COVID death. A heart attack 2 hours after a COVID vaccine is a coincidence. And most of us faithfully believe in this corporate theology.

I know someone that recently passed he was 89 yrs old in a nursing home had kidney and lung failure, when tests were done for these issues it was said he tested positive for the virus but he had heath issues previous as well as old age, will he be listed as a virus death?

Yes he will. That is how they are perpetuating this hoax. That along with the fake PCR tests.
