Deaths from or with #COVID19? Among 245 reported COVID deaths in Östergötland, Sweden, COVID was the main dominant cause of death for 61 (25%), a contributing factor for 148 (60%), while unrelated for 36 (15%). https://www.regionostergotland.se/contentassets/74d47416bbf44ae4a26c5c52f9d89d2a/dodsfall-med-pavisad-covid-19-pa-sjukhus-i-ostergotland.pdf … https://www.regionostergotland.se/contentassets/621708f279b94b0e84fc3e4e2f5a337e/dodsfall-med-covid-19-pa-sarskilda-boenden-eller-i-eget-hem-i-ostergotland.pdf …

But a "Contriburing factor" is a really imprecise term.

Not really, in general it doesn't matter; because it is a pull forward, in the end it is the virus that causes it. The most interesting part of this is the 15% which is the people that die 'with' the virus.https://twitter.com/federicolois/status/1343381757320699905 …

In US it is the worst most probably. Hospitals take money for patients if they are listed as covid which is really problematic. Also, Dr. Birx literally admitted they are recording covid deaths in a “liberal” fashion, that anybody dies with a + pcr is recorded as covid death.

If it’s “unrelated” how is it a CV death?

In Sweden all deaths where the diseased has had Covid within the past 30 days are reported as CV deaths. So if you had mild Covid 3 weeks ago and got run over by a bus, it will still be a CV death. An "unrelated".

This really is THE question re the pandemic. It has driven the worldwide reaction/response, and everyone on the planet has been affected by how this question has been handled. We deserve truth, transparency, and a resolution. I hope this question can be answered.

We had 80 deaths from flu in 2018 in Vermont, mostly frail in elder homes. We've had 110 deaths from C19 so far, mostly frail in elder homes. We have about 6,000 deaths a year in Vermont - all causes. We've been out of lockdown since May, with some restrictions.

What do you mean out of lockdown? Your Gov giving permission for ppl to take walks together from different households? But mask up! Even outside skiing! Please, I live 8 miles from VT and can’t go there. But Vermonsters happy to come to my town and yell at me to mask outside.
