After positive #PCRtests, "nearly 1,000 health care workers at the hospital in Lebanon, NH, were .. furloughed from work .. hospital beds were taken out of commission .. [but] the whole thing was a false alarm. Not a single case .. confirmed." -@ginakolatahttps://web.archive.org/web/20201212180748/https:/www.nytimes.com/2007/01/22/health/22whoop.html …

Who puts any faith in one PCR? Well, maybe if you're desperate for a result? Too little quality assurance and, this is across science, let's be honest?

*faith* in *quick test* leads to epidemic that wasn't. https://twitter.com/beandiagram/status/1332264722285154307?s=19 … PCR results figured out the problem 🤔🤔🤔🤔

The whole edifice of lockdowns and other draconian measures is based on the widely used but fatally flawed Corman-Drosten PCR test protocol as suggested by WHO. The more they test, the more positive cases they find.

No. There many, many different tests for Covid-19 developed and used all over the world. Only some are based on PCR.

Why on earth are you posting this without specifying it was for Whooping Cough in 2007 and based on a quick test not used by dedicated lab? This will be widely misinterpreted without those details

This is why PCR is not the gold standard for B Pertusis testing, viral culture is 13 years of practical PCR experience & technical growth later, coupled with a ban on viral cultures, and currently PCR is the defacto gold standard for covid testing & no lab test is ever perfect
