I didn't misread the story but thanks for the response. The restrictions were due to the pandemic. Now can you show me accurately how hunger would be effected if we didn't close those markets & allowed the spread there like in Peru?
Some of us discussed this during the summer. We were aware that lockdowns and restrictions would hit the poorest hardest. And we were not talking about Europe nor the Western world in general, rather about the African continent. Yet not many cared. What can be done to help?
Tell @MartinKulldorff and others to be honest with what are consequences of government mandates/lockdowns & what are consequences of the pandemic. Until he & others get to that place of truth we can never have a proper debate.
Hi Martin, this is tragic. I sent several donations to charities who deal with these issues during this hard time to balance both covid and its devastations on devolping nations rather than just show these pictures and complain. Hope you're doing the same?
