Excellent appearance by @StanfordMed's Jay Bhattacharya arguing for focused protection and the #GreatBarringtonDeclaration against lockdowns and their collateral damage, in a @JAMA_current debate with @HarvardChanSPH professor @mlipsitch.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2tsUTAWBJ9M …

Question if I may. How do you all see the potential of massive rapid testing to contain the virus until vaccine arrives?

Sorry Martin, it was clear he didn't understand pandemic response or the virus very much. Before you try and push these herd immunity strategies, you should contemplate the risks related to chronic health issues. Not doing so, is very irresponsible. Read SARS-CoV follow ups.

So what is this risk ? Are there any larger studies on the subject ?

Yes, it’s evident from the ground reality focused protection is needed against lockdowns and their collateral damages is on the increase, public can and will bring the change.

@SWAtlasHoover @MAGARoseTaylor The level of censorship of your position by the mainstream media is really quite shameful. There needs to be an open discussion of ideas for everyone to be fully informed. A less informed public is prone to bad decisions.

Unfortunately deaths are rising again now, it's just a delay so cases first then deaths. It's difficult to isolate the transmission to a certain age group. If you have a lot of transmission, it will reach the elderly. Lots of reports about outbreaks in elderly care now in Sweden
