        There are ways of protecting these people, 1st make sure their Vit D levels are sufficient, there is so much data on this its ridiculous that its not part of the plan.         We have a ballpark estimate (deaths / morbidity) for the „liberal“ („herd immunity“) strategy, but not for the other extreme („lockdown forever“). Most feel more comfortable in reducing known risks than unknown ones. Is that rational? Maybe. I really don‘t know.
