Fascinating. You touch upon it, but am still not sure exactly what protecting the elderly/vulnerable means in practice? They can't be expected to be barricaded indoors. Many want to take the risk and continue with their lives. Essentially, it's all a personal risk assessment.

I think if the money were spent on paying nursing home workers properly, care homes could be protected.
