Also: frequently reminding people of the very low risk COVID poses to children. Comparisons with flu might be helpful?
Agree, and we can open schools now. Sweden had schools and day-care open through height of pandemic, with zero COVID19 deaths among 1.8 million children ages 1-15. Sweden kept schools (up to age 15) open. Teachers fared no differently than non-teachers. Swedes DID the experiment—no issues. We wring our hands nonetheless. Covid truism: Few change course from original track despite new data. Daniel Kahneman call this “Anchoring”.
