"I agreed with lockdown as a short term emergency response because we couldn’t think of anything better to do. .. Closing schools was not an epidemiologically sensible thing to do. .. We should have been concentrating on care homes." - Mark Woolhousehttps://www.express.co.uk/life-style/health/1320428/Coronavirus-news-lockdown-mistake-second-wave-Boris-Johnson …

It seems like more scientists in Europe are characterizing lockdowns as a massive mistake, and press in Europe is starting to cover them. Do you agree that there’s a shift taking place?

If we’d given as much attention to care homes as we have schools then our death rate would be a lot less! But obviously teachers and their unions shout louder and get the most attention.

I applaud Mark Woolhouse for having the courage to acknowledge a mistake and hope that others (myself included) will have the humility to follow suit. @nygovcuomo

Martin, on a different note: what's your take on the one confirmed case of reinfection? Does it affect the strategy that should be used?

Make no mistake, this is only being said now because it’s already served its purpose: normalise this new bullshit abnormality of masks, distancing, and acceptance of paranoid hyper-testing. All part of the plan.
