I would certainly prefer the former for the sanity and general health of the population. We aren’t going to keep up this lockdown, even in eased form, much longer. It clearly doesn’t work for my family of 5 as we can only meet 1 other at home.

I believe your article but fear when school starts (my son is starting kindergarten this year) that it will be almost impossible to avoid community spread once cases start. I'm lucky to be in East Coast Canada (safest place in North America) and we're still worried.
