We need a proper public debate about the relevance of PCR testing for tracking the incidence of Covid-19 disease in society. Disparities between lab tests & clinical data are becoming embarrassing. Hospitalisations & deaths flatlining across Europe while no end to new “cases”

So, don't test 'mildly symptomatic' cases so they can infect their contacts. But when you start with a nonsensical hammer (let us reach herd immunity despite the fact there is no herd immunity for any respiratory viruse apart from measles), everything must indeed look like a nail
