This is absolutely correct. And something that people seem unwilling to face up to. Does anyone know of a place with relatively large amounts of community transmission that kept schools open and has examined serology in younger age cohorts? Would be very usefulhttps://twitter.com/EckerleIsabella/status/1292434142110638085 …

This is misleading: children < 12 not tested in Switzerland when only mildly sick. Not a single sentinel study investigating asymptomatic infections in kids or schools on a regular basis. Several children with multiinflammatory syndrome seen in CH. #SARSCoV2 #COVID19 https://twitter.com/BallouxFrancois/status/1292252181693960192 …

I don’t think that breaks down the younger age groups, which is what I’m really looking for. But yes Sweden would be the place to go for those data.

I have been looking into outcomes for children in 🇸🇪 a bit, waiting 4 some data requested. Looking at other metrics than serology tho. Swedish children appear to have been hit harder than kids in neighboring countries, disproportional to overall community transmission levels.
