Prevailing view among epis seems to be that this is far too dangerous because of unclear but looming massive morbidity in young people infected, so virus must be suppressed at all costs. How do you respond to claim that low mortality risk masks great harm even in young + healthy?
Good question James. Sweden had 8 out of 1.8 million children ages 1-15 in ICU, all survived. Tough for those children, but from a public health perspective, many other diseases are worse.
