Wonderful that we have one governor in this country that follows the science rather than the media: "Science shows not going to school hurts kids more than COVID".https://twitter.com/govkristinoem/status/1288920548261552129 …

Watching the answers she is getting on her Twitter, it is going to be a difficult battle with the public. In Switzerland, we also had resistance from a small fraction of the general public. A lot threatened not to send children to school. On May 11th, barely anyone was missing.

She really stands out as a leader, doesn’t she? I have been begging my husband to move there. She even leaves it to the discretion of actual doctors whether to prescribe HCQ.

Kids don't care about going to school that much. Parents have to go back to work to fuel the economy. This argument about kids needing school is silly. Until 100 years ago, many kids did not go to school or just early grades and they build our societies.

There’s a huge difference between the kids of today and those of a hundred years ago. Even their brains are different. (You can thank tv and technology for that.) Today’s kids need their friends and the routine they were used to. It’s not “silly” at all.
