      Hi Zoë, Sweden never closed day-care/primary/middle schools during pandemic, with zero #COVID19 deaths among 1.8 million kids ages 1-15.       Could that be because so many of the vulnerable were already deceased? I saw some disturbingly high mortality rates coming out of Sweden. Far from other Scandavian countries. A lead advisor regrets the course he championed and is now hushed up? Could be wrong.

      But Sweden has a lower Covid mortality rate than other demographically similar countries such as U.K., Italy, and the Netherlands.

      I’d like to see some disaggregated data. Too early to put the UK in yet, maybe I’m wrong. I haven’t seen recent Netherlands data. Odd since I have family there, now I think about it. Italy, I’m not sure. They had an older population which potentially skews data.

      As their r-rate has been in free fall combined with a massive drive in testing, looks like their gamble paid off, not only did daycare and schools never close, teachers also wore no mask and no social distance (but they are scandinavishly unphysical to begin) with the pupils
