Could that be because so many of the vulnerable were already deceased? I saw some disturbingly high mortality rates coming out of Sweden. Far from other Scandavian countries. A lead advisor regrets the course he championed and is now hushed up? Could be wrong.

But Sweden has a lower Covid mortality rate than other demographically similar countries such as U.K., Italy, and the Netherlands.

Wasn’t Sweden’s death rate higher than its neighbours? I don’t think the worry is that children will die from COVID-19 but that they would spread it.

Swedish education promotes kids to stay at school for shortest possible time, and surrounding countries provided cushion to attack rate. I don't see they acknowledge these.
