I'm so sick of this "Well, this is a health and safety issue, so why should teachers be consulted?" BS. It implies that school is just a babysitter for you to drop your kids off at. Effectively educating our youth is the whole purpose of school. CONSULT EDUCATORS!

I would like to know what in school safety protocols were in place? Class size, cohorts, $ for extra cleaning, PPE?

Increased hand hygiene, no large school-wide gatherings, more outdoor activities in e.g. sports, daily surface cleaning, sick children stayed home.
