This is incredibly interesting. If many asymptomatic seronegative people in fact are immune we might be building up herd immunity much faster than anticipated.

Are they indeed „immune“ i.e. protected against infection, or do they have certain features (eg T cells)? Can they carry & spread? I like the study, but would be cautious w/ potential overinterpretation. Especially, do not conclude „let’s all stop wearing masks“

Agree that this is absolutely not sufficient to conclude anything. I was nonetheless encouraged - and it would go some way to explain the continued low transmission in spite of all the Danes now exiting their homes and starting kissing on each other again ;-)!

That’s true, but we do see an increase in cases an R0 here Berlin (similar situation I guess), so I would not count on the herd just yet.... unfortunately

Agree. With less infections to date, herd immunity will likely arrive later to Germany than e.g. Sweden. Hope Germany can protect the high risk elderly until then.
