I understand shutting down the entire nation like New Zealand, Australia, India and Mongolia is insane.
But what can countries like South Africa, Zimbabwe and Namibia, where HIV infections are high, do to combat COVID-19?
As of now, there is no evidence that HIV patients are at higher risk. In general, elderly and other high risk group should practice social distancing and self-isolation, while younger people ensure that society keeps going.
