Certainly not yet. But silicon brains do have the advantage of not having to be embodied in a single biological brain/body package, which has some serious fundamental scaling constraints (at least so far!), so you wonder how far that branch of the tech tree can go as a result

Isn't that what memes and nation states are for? Scaling computation by biobrains across multiple instances. (mostly not joking, though not disagreeing with each of scaling silicon)

Absolutely. General intelligence is most useful. But in specific situations other traits have proven more competitive - like the capacity for complex communication and cooperation. Sidenote: I learned too late that eloquence and intelligence are not as correlated as expected.
