"One of the criticisms I've faced over the years is that I'm not aggressive enough or assertive enough, or maybe somehow, because I'm empathetic, it means I'm weak. I totally rebel against that. I refuse to believe that you cannot be both compassionate & strong." Jacinda Ardern

Our Woman of the Day Dundee-born Frances Wright born OTD 1795. She advocated education for all, equal rights for women, emancipation - one of the first women in USA to do so - and set up Nashoba Commune to prepare enslaved people for freedom. Harshly criticised by press & clergy.

When stars die, most leave behind a beautiful piece of art called a planetary nebula. They last a few thousand years and then fade. Our sun will likely sign off with its own art piece in 5 billion years. These are planetary nebulae captured by Hubble.
