You might have trouble reading tone. His cohost laughs, he laughs, the entire time you hear his smile when he talks. You can't just claim it was serious when I have two working ears. And why would he make such an admission in a comedy podcast, why would he say it on air?

Sure, at the time, Shane thought it was an acceptable joke. Plenty of people joke about their trauma and as you know, Shane himself was molested. But Shane is now a grown man who has confronted his past mistakes and changed. I haven't seen any evidence he still behaves that way.
