Does the study distinguish illegal immigrants from others, like HB-1 visas? Why exclude thefts and other crimes, like DUIs? And most importantly, what is seen in Canada, which has the merit-based alternative system? That would make this study truly nonpartisan.

The study's author knows he's referring to iIllegal immigrants. She knows her data set doesn't make that distinction. She didn't look at all crime, only violent crime, of which she didn't correct for the national decline. Faulty premises. Junk science.
