The police need to empathize with AA community about how they feel re : all the losses & policing practices. The citizens need to demand from city hall that the police police fairly and not with an iron fist. If police are "too afraid" to do their jobs or can't fairly-then fired

I've been told at my jobs in training that I knew what I signed up for and to get with it or I might need to look elsewhere for employment. I didn't like it but it does boil down to that. I have to be fair and firm and not fearful to work with my clients or the public.

When they believe the hype that AAs are animals and criminals FIRST and not PEOPLE first, then we're gonna get the constant repeat of Freddie Gray. Do positive outreach, like hosting events that involve citizens to build positive relationships.

"We didn't want them beating the hell out of us". Do police act this way in Canada, Japan, New Zealand, etc? US enforcement = unjust.

Can't they protect and serve without being brutal?. They don't seem afraid to direct traffic with all the potential drunk drivers on the road. Being a police is a hazardous profession and if you can't face that fact then maybe that should not be your career gold.
