not sure that's an entirely bad thing. too many ex-cops, FBI agents and prosecutors involved in the marijuana game. they deserve to lose, even if I can't get high.
-
Instead of focusing on who is getting how much money, maybe we should focus on who is being harmed - being dragged into the legal system, fees, missed time at work, families torn apart, probation, forced-treatment... As if being treated like a criminal alone isn't enough?
-
there are no scenarios in which the usual suspects will not be "dragged into the legal system". for one reason or another. they are the designated fodder. America is no place for idealism.
-
Less enforcement of marijuana laws = fewer legal problems for marijuana users. It doesn't mean that all marijuana users will have no problems. We've spent upward of $40B/yr fighting marijuana. A lot of people will get rich the longer it remains contraband & in low(er) supply.
