Shocking. Awful. Vasectomies are not easily or cheaply reversible, so that's near sterilization.

For a nearly permanent procedure they better give more than a measly month off the sentence.
-
Trading sterilization for freedom is never an acceptable offer. Trading even reversible contraception for freedom is never acceptable.
-
Oh no, I wasn't suggesting it was. Just pointing out that only offering a month off for sterilization is even more of an insult.
-
Yeah, I was expecting a year, minimum.
-
Maybe the people who accept are wise enough to know they shouldn't have kids? If you think 30 days is a good trade off...probably shouldn't?
-
What with the US making Alford pleas, and “plea deals” a thing, this is horrible.
-
Plea deals never made sense to me. Say you're guilty when you're not to avoid a harsher sentence for being innocent??

Wow. Not content to bring back fascism, they're bringing back eugenics too. Guess the two *do* go hand in hand...

This was the argument they used in Nazi Germany to justify killing disabled people.
-
LOL. Everything goes back to the Nazis with SJWs.
-
I'm not an "SJW", and if people don't want shit to come back to the Nazis, maybe they shouldn't share fucked up beliefs with them.
-
Right, the smart people all believe drug addicts and the poorest, least-educated, most criminally inclined people should have the most kids.
-
They believe they should be allowed to. Because they understand how culture & biology works, and why eugenics is ethically indefensible.
-
"Culture" requires us to allow criminals, addicts, and people who will generally be the worst parents to have the most kids? Please.
