Away with minimum mandatory, away with the unconstitutional sentencing guidelines. Judges need to look at every accused individually before making a decision. If a judge can’t do that without the aid of the guidelines, or without mandatory he has no business being a judge.

Actually I think the mandatory minimums are there to make the prosecutors job easier. They can threaten with long sentences that they would be guaranteed to get or use lower charges with less time to get the plea. The whole system needs to be revised
