So the description was "young black male". How many thousands of kids in Chicago meet that description? Not enough to justify roughing up a 10 year old, or anyone for that matter.
-
i think vague descriptions are issued on purpose. Gives them cause to stop just about anybody without repurcussions.
-
That's my concern. But, how often do you hear simply "young white male" as the description?

This is so sad. I suppose we should be grateful they didn't kill him.
#BLM - esp little ones. -
That was my first thought, I felt really sad too. Imagine a 10 year old playing outside his grandmothers house being assaulted by the police and my first feeling is not outrage but relief they didn’t murder him.

Can I ask why its okay for white people to carry guns but they call police when the gun wielder is black? We have pro-gun activists, trying to silence school shooting victims because of guns. Do they only want the 2nd Amendment for whites?
-
The first gun control laws in CA prohibited public carrying of loaded weapons as a response to Black Panther demonstrations protesting drive-through violence in Compton by whites. It was signed by Gov. Ronald Reagan. The most vulnerable need
#2A the most.

Children of color are targeted from an early age. If they make a mistake, it is met with the harshest adult-like punishment versus white children. When I was in 4th grade, I was constantly bullied by my teachers.

"... police followed “all the rules and protocols.” Rules and Protocols defined: yup, black youth, I'm here they're there; cuff'em, beat'em; shoot'em. Rules and Protocols followed. Now let's make some shit up, write it down. Who's buying lunch today?

So what, they handcuff the first boy who vaguely matches the description??? And I question the need for cuffs to begin with. Somebody's policies and procedures need to be looked over.
